Values & Challenges
Value:

Being detailed is the value I learn from the risk management segment. As with this value, I was able to look into really small details of the project that might affect the safety of our elderly participants and volunteer. Also, we had to brainstorm and develop various ideas and approaches to guarantee that things are safe and that our participants are in excellent hands by assuring their safety and well-being during their time with us, given the fact they are all elderly, including our volunteers. As a result, I've learned that being detailed is critical in a service learning project.

Challenges:

The challenge that myself and my team have is fear as sometimes no matter how well we prevent all risks from occurring, they can still occur, which is the worry that we have. However, we must overcome these problems by trying our best to prevent them and devising strategies to deal with them if they do occur. Hence, we have learned that we can have the best contingency plan to prevent accident and those risk that we have identified but certain things will still happen that is not within our control. Thus, the challenges face was being over-worry.
